From top to bottom, here is the steps involved in building the cabin.

4.) Putting up the walls is next. The interior walls will not be put up until the cabin is dried in, of course. That means that the roof will be put in and there will not be danger of water damage when the interior wals and kitchen and bath are all put in.

5.) After the walls are up, the roof goes up. There is only one tree that will be removed to build this house. That tree will be used as the center post of the cabin that will support the roof.

 

6.) The decking is then added to the roof. There is an opening in the center that will allow the light to flow in from the upper windows.
